About the Author
Devdutt Pattanaik is a renowned writer and speaker on mythology, which he defines as cultural truths expressed through stories, symbols, and rituals. He lectures widely on the relevance of Indian and Western myths in contemporary life. Over the past 25 years, he has authored and illustrated more than fifty books, and is widely known for his TED Talk and television shows such as Devlok and Business Sutra. A regular columnist for leading publications including The Times of India and Dainik Bhaskar, Devdutt is a medical doctor by training. After spending 15 years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, he has devoted the last decade to exploring mythology and sharing its wisdom with audiences across the world.
